For more than twenty years I have worked in or engaged with the field of preservation/heritage, mostly in the Bay Area but also in New York, and for the last eight years in Toronto, Canada. My work includes research, writing and production of historic structure reports, historic resource evaluations, historic resource assessments (supp), environmental impact reports and historic resource surveys. Before embarking on my own consulting practice I worked for both preservation and architecture firms including: Carey & Co., Inc., Richardson Architects, Lyndon/Buchanan Associates, and Skidmore, Owings and Merrill.
